  2. Uedit knows about the following files and may look for them:
  3.  
  4.     Data!  NoName.info  Key-Help  Config!  Help!  Learned-Sequences
  5.     HyperText-Files
  6.  
  7. Here is the path information you need for each of these:
  8.  
  9. Data!:
  10.     If you simply run UE or UES, Uedit will look first in the Current Dir
  11.     and, if not there, then in S: for the Data! file.  You can override
  12.     this, by typing (in CLI)
  13.         Run UES -dMyDir/MyData
  14.  
  15. NoName.info:
  16.     If you have selected "Make icons", Uedit will create an icon when you
  17.     save the file to disk.  It looks in S: for NoName.info, to use it to
  18.     make make an icon for your file.  If NoName.info is not in S:, no icon
  19.     will be created.

  21. Key-Help:
  22.     Key-Help is only used when you use Teach Mode.  Uedit will look only
  23.     in the S: for Key-Help, unless you have renamed <S:Key-Help> to
  24.     <MyDir/MyKeyHelp> in your config's defaults and recompiled the
  25.     defaults.

  27. Config!:
  28.     If you simply run UE or UES, Uedit will look first in the Current Dir
  29.     and, if not there, then in S: for the Config! file.  You can override
  30.     this, however, by typing (in CLI)
  31.          Run UE -cMyDir/MyConfig

  33.     Note that Config! actually consists of several segments (M,P,R,S) and
  34.     may consist of up 26 segments (A-Z) in addition to the root segment.
  35.     Also, Config! is not needed, unless Uedit can't find Data! or you use
  36.     the "-c" flag.

  38. Help!:
  39.     The help facility is controlled completely by a command in the Config!M
  40.     file or in whatever custom config you are using.  Uedit's standard
  41.     config looks first in the Current Dir and then in S: for the Help!
  42.     file.  Custom configs can use any help-filename and any directory to
  43.     contain it.

  45. Learn Sequences:
  46.     When you save a learned sequence, you are asked to specify a name for
  47.     it.  It is saved under the myDir/myLearnName that you specify.
  48.  
  49.     When you load a learned sequence, you must give the directory/filename
  50.     where it can be found.

  52. HyperSample & HyperSample.tbl:
  53.     These are used only when you use Hyper Text.  And these filenames are
  54.     mentioned only in Config!H which has the hyper text commands. 
  55.     Customizing Config!H customizes how hyper text is used.
